Great opportunity from Plymouth College of Art and Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs
International Creative Jam – City & Nature from Portugal to Plymouth!

As part of the Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs (AYCH) we are offering an opportunity to participate in physical and virtual workshops and activities of the 3-day AYCH International Creative Jam. This event will take place in a hybrid way at Plymouth College of Art as well as online by connecting to workshops, participants and experts from different hubs in the UK, France, Spain and Portugal, our host country. You will have an opportunity to connect with experts and other young people from Plymouth and abroad, use our FabLab facilities and experts’ support for design and prototyping, work on societal and environmental challenges in a small team at PCA and pitch to an international audience. Create locally, connect globally! See below;

Day 1(November 3) : Registration at PCA, welcome (PCA and online from Santo Tirso), lunch (PCA), design thinking (PCA and online), wrap-up (PCA)
Day 2 (November 4): Workshops and idea generation (PCA and online from Santo Tirso and other hubs), lunch (PCA), design and prototyping (PCA), dinner (PCA)
Day 3 (November 5): Hackathon (PCA), pitching (online), wrap-up and dinner (PCA)

More detailed programme to be confirmed closer to the event.

About RIO

We’re passionate about solving social problems. From breathing new life into old buildings, to supporting young people to develop the skills to succeed in an ever-changing world, RIO innovates to deliver real and lasting social change.

By creating a change ecology – one where we influence policy, shape places, deliver strategic programmes and support and develop people – we can unlock potential and opportunities to create a fairer world; one that works for everyone, not just the privileged few.
