WOW! Said the Owl | Little Angel Theatre’s digital performance

This December, Little Angel Theatre is putting on digital performances for EYFS/KS1 children of our production WOW! Said the Owl, based on the book by Tim Hopgood. For the cost of £300, schools can book to have one pre-recorded digital performance for their EYFS/KS1 pupils, followed by a Blue Peter-style themed activity led over Zoom. Find out more information about WOW! Said the Owl here.

What will my school receive?
By booking WOW! Said the Owl, your school will receive:
– A digital performance of WOW! Said the Owl, followed by a live workshop delivered over Zoom. You can show this in your school hall, or have multiple classes watching and interacting from the same links.
– A digital education pack with resources and activities for you to use in the classroom.

About the show
Explore the wonderful world of colours with a curious little owl, who is determined to stay awake and see what daylight brings.

From the warm, pink glow of dawn through to a day filled with the bright colours of green leaves, blue sky, white clouds and, finally, a stunning rainbow – ‘WOW!’ But despite the beauty of the daytime world, the little owl decides that the night-time stars are the most beautiful of all.

WOW! Said the Owl, the acclaimed children’s book by award-winning author, Tim Hopgood, is brought to life through a blend of beautiful storytelling, puppetry and music. Directed by Joy Haynes, this show will delight and excite very young audiences.

Bringing digital performances to your school
You will receive a film of the production to watch with your class over Vimeo. You will then take part in a live workshop over Zoom with games and activities.
