Cultural Education in Swindon & Wiltshire

Cultural Education in Swindon and Wiltshire

The Cultural Education Partnership is currently in the very early stages of formation.

Working with the NPOs in the area and the established networks of cultural organisations, Artsmad, SOLO, the Music Hubs and others, we will be galvanising these relationships, building on the launch of the Cultural Education Challenge in Swindon back in February 2016.

The Cultural Education launch provided the impetus for the practitioners and education forums in the area to take on the challenge and respond as a collective. For more on this emerging Cultural Education Partnership please contact Mark Powell at

Useful resources

There are some really interesting tools and data sets which are freely available – including the Arts Council’s ‘cultural education data toolkit’ – along with a range of other databases focussed on cost of interventions for children and young people, disadvantage, health and education.
