Horningsham Primary School: Our Artsmark Journey
“The arts and a creative approach is about being inclusive regardless of your ability; your background, and it’s actually accessible to children of all levels.”
Horningsham Primary, a small, rural school in Wiltshire, were recently awarded a Platinum Artsmark award. Horningsham were very proud of where they were with their arts and wanted to make sure they were moving in the best direction possible.
Carole Andrews, Headteacher, said:
Creativity is a huge part of the curriculum at Horningsham and the arts are integral to everything we do. It’s not an add-on for us; it’s our approach to learning.
